EPSO AD5 practice tests compared (2026): prices, languages, free tests

Dozens of sites now sell practice for the AD5 reasoning tests, at prices from nothing to several hundred euros. This page puts the main ones side by side, using only what each site says about itself on its own pages, read on 19 October 2026. We run AD5 Practice, which is in the table too, so we have kept to facts you can check through the links at the end.

What to check before you pay

  • The language of the questions, in all three tests. You sit verbal, numerical and abstract reasoning in your language 1. Some sites cover verbal in many languages but numerical and abstract in only one or two.
  • A full Part 1 on the real clocks. 20 verbal questions in 35 minutes, 10 numerical in 20 and 10 abstract in 10, each test on its own clock. Pacing three separate clocks is a skill of its own.
  • The test screen and its rules. The real test has an instruction page with a countdown before each test, a question bar and an overview, an on-screen calculator that takes a dot as the decimal point, and no sign of right or wrong until the end. A tool that shows the answer after every question trains a habit the real test does not allow. Our guide to practising the format has a checklist.
  • Worked answers. The useful ones say why each wrong option is wrong, so you learn the trap as well as the answer.
  • Whether the price renews. Part 1 ends on 13 November 2026. A monthly plan that renews until you cancel can cost more than it looks.
  • The pass marks it scores you against. The notice sets 10 out of 20 for verbal, and 10 out of 20 for numerical and abstract together.

What the table shows

Languages are where the sites differ most. Several cover verbal reasoning in many languages but numerical and abstract in only a few. You sit all three tests in your language 1, so check each test rather than the headline number of languages.

A free full-length Part 1 exists in three places: Free EPSO Questions, Laureo and our free test. EPSO’s own sample, which runs on the real platform and is worth taking, is half the length on a single clock.

Prices for similar reasoning practice run from free to several hundred euros, and two sites sell monthly plans that renew until cancelled.

Where AD5 Practice fits

Our free test is a full Part 1: 40 questions on the three real clocks, with your marks against both pass marks and a worked answer for every question. Full access then opens six more full Part 1 tests and practice by section, for €29.99 for 30 days, one payment that never renews. Every question exists in eight languages, all three tests included, and every worked answer names what is wrong with each option. The test screen is built to behave like EPSO’s public sample, with the question bar, bookmarks and the overview, the calculator, the scratchpad, the highlighter, the line reader, answer elimination and answer masking, and the instructions during the test.

How to choose

  • To see where you stand today: sit a free full Part 1 on a computer, in one go, with the three clocks.
  • If your language is Greek, Romanian or Polish: check that numerical and abstract exist in it as well as verbal.
  • With three weeks or less to go: full Part 1 tests on the real clocks matter more than the number of questions on offer.
  • If you only need access until 13 November: prefer one payment over a plan that renews.

Questions

Is there a free full-length EPSO AD5 practice test?

Yes, three: Free EPSO Questions (no account), Laureo (free account) and our free test (free account, with worked answers). EPSO’s own sample is shorter: 20 questions on one 30-minute clock.

Which AD5 practice tests are in my language?

EPSO’s sample covers all 24 languages. For full practice, check each test separately: only some sites offer numerical and abstract beyond English and French. Ours covers all three tests in English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian and Spanish.

How much does AD5 practice cost?

From nothing to several hundred euros. Entry prices for one-payment passes mostly fall between about €13 and €50; packages that bundle the other AD5 tests cost more. Ours is €29.99 for 30 days.

Does any practice site use EPSO’s real test platform?

Only EPSO’s own sample runs on it. Every practice site, ours included, builds its own screen, and some reproduce the platform’s tools more closely than others. To compare screens, use the checklist in our guide to practising the format.
